Barham Memorial School, a Grade II listed building,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/wa-15876-barham-memorial-school-trecwn )〕 closed in 2001 following the closure of the armaments depot (see below) a few years before.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.derelictplaces.co.uk/main/showthread.php?t=6980 )〕 Joseph Foster Barham (1759-1832)〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.historyofparliamentonline.org/volume/1790-1820/member/foster-barham-joseph-1759-1832 )〕 and his son Charles Henry (1808-1878)〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.historyofparliamentonline.org/volume/1820-1832/member/foster-barham-charles-1808-1878 )〕 were both members of parliament for Stockbridge, Hampshire. Trecwn was a community in its own right until 2007; however, the population had decreased significantly from 366 to 260 in the years 1980 to 2006, so it was merged into the community of Scleddau.
