Tredington is a small village near Shipston-on-Stour in Warwickshire.
The village has a primary School, a church,〔http://www.shipstondeanery.co.uk/churches/tredington.asp〕 and a pub,〔http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/24/24969/White_Lion/Treddington〕 along with a village shop, although this has now closed.
The river Stour runs through Tredington, and it was at this exact location where the UK's 2nd largest pike was caught by Geoff Crabtree, weighing in at a whopping 45 lb 7oz.
Neighbouring villages include Ilmington and Halford.
The village church St.Gregory's has the tallest spire in Warwickshire, while the front door still shows the remains of bullet marks left over from the English Civil War.
