Unitax
Unitax ("unified national indirect taxation") is a system of national revenue (complemented by ulitax - "unified local indirect taxation") based on non-monetary, energy value, units of assessment.〔( "The 'inversion' of Value Added Tax (VAT) to Unified National Indirect Taxation (UNITax)," ) by Farel Bradbury and Owen Ephraim, Unitax Association, ''Hydatum the publishers'', 70, RTW, TN4 9HZ, UK, (www.hydatum.com ) (A submission by the Unitax Association, UK, for the conference "What taxation for a low carbon economy?" Called by the European Commission (Directorate General for Taxation and Customs Union), 30 November 2009 at the Conference Centre Charlemagne (CHAR), Room GASP, Rue de la Loi, 170 – 1040 Brussels, Belgium ) (retrieved 31-01-2011 )〕 Thus a revenue of £x or $y per gigajoule of primary energy entering any given economy can phase out all other taxes and raise revenue which is continuously, automatically and with hardly any paperwork, geared to standard of living, income and property. Essential safeguards are outlined in the "Resource Economics Proposition". ==See also==
