Vaidhya Vaidya or Vaidraj is a term used in India to refer to a person who practises ayurveda, an ancient code that some believe to have medicinal benefits. Senior practitioners or teachers were called ''Vaidhraj'' as a mark of respect. Some royal families in India had a personal Vaidhya in attendance and these people were referred to as ''Raj Vaidhya''. ==See also==
