Vanyamba (rus. slang Ivan-boy) is pseudonym of Andrey Sharoyko, musician from Russia, who makes music in progressive electronica style. Most popular composition is "Closer With Each Moment". Also "The Last Song of the 20th Century" is notable, since it was recorded on December 31, 2000. == Band history == Beginning of the project may be considered April 1994, when with pseudonym Rabid Vanyamba the author recorded album ''The Son''. This album was written as experiment in sound recording. Bass, electric guitar and synthesizer CASIO were used during the single record session. Vanyamba recorded them in double speed mode, then played on normal speed, getting this way either deep rich pads and unusual sound effects. Further in Vanyamba's oeuvre the stage of tracker music is following (1994-1997). Modules, written in that period, are lost somewhere in the vastness of Fidonet. Then the author told himself he grew out their musical features. In 1997−1998 Vanyamba is recording music with Yamaha synthesizer, and in June, 1998 he released next album, this time on CD-R. The history has not preserved the name of this work. In February, 2001 Vanyamba begins to work on new album, which should be made up from tracks those published by author on MP3.com server during the course of action. So in June, 2002 "Pictures From The Other Side" album has been released in small edition on CD-R discs. As producer of his first real album, the author decides that ''Rabid Vanyamba'' pseudonym talks already too few about its music, so he changed it to simply ''Vanyamba''. Another major change made by the author affected to the music. The author's intention is to make less commercial music further. In October, 2009 "The Age Of Cyber Fairytales" album has been released. The album is composed in two parts: first part is including records made during 2005-2007, second part is made of records since 2002-2005. From August, 2008 to April, 2014 Vanyamba is recording "Audio Blog" album. Its tracks are like records into the author's musical blog.
