9X is an Indian Hindi general entertainment channel based in Mumbai.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=9X )〕 It is owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL). The channel was launched on 12 November 2007 in India as the flagship of the INX Network, and produces fiction and non-fiction programming and Bollywood films.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=9x Tv Schedule )〕 On 10 August 2009, 9X ceased broadcasting in the UK on Freesat and Sky Digital where it had been a free-to-air channel.〔 (【引用サイトリンク】 title=9X ceases broadcasting in the UK )〕 Currently 9X has no original shows on air; it only airs old shows of Zee TV like ''Kasamh Se'' and ''Asititva''. ==Sale to ZEEL== On 8 March 2010, it was revealed that ZEEL had made a bid of Rs 650 million for 9X, who owe Rs 1.30 billion to creditors.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Zee set to buy 9X in novel deal )〕 The INX management is expected to pitch in with some money of their own to seal the deal with the creditors, who are expected to agree to the deal. INX is then expected to spin off 9X, which will be taken over by ZEEL after a court approves the arrangement. After the 9X sale, INX will be left with just the music channel 9XM.
