Velsoft Training Materials Inc (Velsoft) is a provider of customizable training materials in the form of courseware and eLearning. It is a privately held company based in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada. All of Velsoft's training content is created by an in-house production team. The Business Skills and Computer Skills training materials save costly and time consuming efforts that it takes trainers to develop training, while the customizability allows the content to be tailored to that specific customer's training needs. The company releases, through its Courseware Assurance program, at least two new courses each month, one focused on computer skills and the other on business, or soft, skills.

Founded in 1998, Velsoft was a pioneer in using the power of the internet for education, and today Velsoft's training content is used in tens of thousands of companies in over 160 countries around the world. Velsoft is short for "Velocity Software",〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=About Velsoft )〕 the company's original name. The company name was changed to Velsoft, when the domain "velocitysoftware.com" was taken.
In the beginning, Velsoft was developing materials to teach kids about computers, but in 2002 the company began focusing on developing their materials for the corporate training market. Then in 2005, Velsoft expanded their training materials by introducing Soft Skills courseware in addition to their Computer Skills courses. the power Since mid-2003, Velsoft's focus has shifted from K12 curriculum to corporate training materials. Velsoft's first commercial application was computer training courseware followed by soft skills courseware.
In 2008, Velsoft broadened its market by exploring online learning and in 2010 the company launched a complete Learning Management System (LMS) making their training materials available to customers in eLearning format.
