Verzegnis is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about northwest of Trieste and about northwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 913 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The town of Verzegnis is famous in Europe for hosting their annual Hillclimb Rally. This is an FIA sanctioned event, which brings in many spectators and drivers from across the world.
