Edvin Vesterby


Edvin Vesterby (born 23 October 1927) is a former Swedish wrestler. He won an Olympic silver medal in Greco-Roman wrestling in 1956, and also competed at the 1952 and 1960 Olympics.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.sports-reference.com/olympics/athletes/ve/edvin-vesterby-1.html )
He was born in Riguldi Parish (now Noarootsi Parish), Lääne County, Estonia into an Estonian Swede family. In 1944 he emigrated to Sweden. He started sporting under Robert Oks in 1946 in Stockholm.
