Vibhajyavāda (Sanskrit; Pāli: Vibhajjavāda; ) was an early Buddhist school or a group of early Buddhist schools.

The word ''Vibhajyavāda'' may be parsed into ''vibhajya'', loosely meaning "dividing", "analyzing" and ''vāda'' holding the semantic field: "doctrine", "teachings".〔Skilton, Andrew.
