It is published from the Mujahid Centre, Kozhikode.This is considered as the official mouthpiece of Kerala Nadvathul Mujahideeneven though the organisation highlights the monthly named Al-Manar as the official publication. Vichinthanam discuss the day to day matters of Muslim and salafi community of the state as well as the news updates, Q&A, Islamic history, book reviews, Fiqh and career guidance. It is published by the Ishaq Ali Kallikkandy and the founding editor is EKM Pannoor (Mayin Master), who is an Islamic writer, orator and Organiser. == Background == The publication of Vichinthanam started in light of the tension within KNM during the early 2000s, when the official weekly "Shabab" was almost with the madavoor faction of KNM.
