Villars-Burquin is a former municipality in the district of Jura-Nord Vaudois in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. The municipalities of Fontanezier, Romairon, Vaugondry and Villars-Burquin merged on 1 July 2011 into the new municipality of Tévenon.〔(Amtliches Gemeindeverzeichnis der Schweiz ) published by the Swiss Federal Statistical Office accessed 17 February 2011〕 ==Geography== Villars-Burquin has an area, , of . Of this area, or 33.2% is used for agricultural purposes, while or 61.0% is forested. Out of the forested land, 56.4% of the total land area is heavily forested and 4.6% is covered with orchards or small clusters of trees.
