W38BK
W38BK was a low-power U.S. television station licensed to Evansville, Indiana. Until it went dark in mid-November 2009 (due to a decrease in viewer support following the digital TV transition), it carried programming from the Trinity Broadcasting Network, via satellite. On March 15, 2006, the station was granted a construction permit to begin converting operations to digital television; however, TBN never utilized that permit. TBN took W38BK silent March 26, 2010 due to declining support, which has been attributed to the digital transition. TBN would later sell the station to the Minority Media and Television Council; however, the station's license was cancelled in 2011 due to non-use one year after having gone dark. There was also another TBN repeater serving the extreme northwestern part of this market, W57AO of Robinson, Illinois, but it went off the air on December 1, 2005. W57AO was owned by the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International. ==References==
