WFME-FM (106.3 FM) is a radio station airing Christian music and teaching programs. Licensed to Mount Kisco, New York, USA, the station serves Northern Westchester and Putnam Counties. The station is owned by Family Radio. 〔 (【引用サイトリンク】title=WFME-FM Facility Record )〕 Family Radio has applied to the FCC for permission to program the station with Family Radio's non-commercial religious format from its former 94.7 FM station's studios in West Orange, New Jersey and in a public statement, Charlie Menut, Family Radio's regional vice president and former station manager/chief engineer for Newark, New Jersey's WFME (now WNSH) stated before that station signed off that WDVY would assume the WFME call-sign until a new suitable AM station in the New York City tri-state area could be acquired.〔(WFME (FM) signs off and statement by station manager Charlie Menut. )〕 On February 10, 2015, Family Radio was granted the purchase of WQEW 1560 AM. Family Radio did not cease transmitting WFME FM so WFME AM and FM started simulcasting each other on February 28, 2015, with the AM signal restoring the station's reach to the New York City Area that it had lost when Family Radio sold 94.7 FM. ==History== The station went on-the-air as WVIP-FM on January 15, 1964. On September 26, 1993, the station was sold and changed its call sign to WMJU, and on November 11, 1999 to WFAF.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=WFME-FM Call Sign History )〕 It was announced on February 25, 2012 that WFAF would begin simulcasting the country music station WDBY "KICKS 105.5 FM" from Brookfield, Connecticut on 106.3 starting Thursday, March 1st. 〔 〕 The switch was moved up to February 29, 2012 at Noon. To reflect the format change, Cumulus changed the call-sign from WFAF to WDVY. Previously the station had been simulcasting WFAS-FM 103.9 FM, an adult contemporary station licensed to Bronxville, New York. For more history see WDBY. WDVY was sold to Family Stations as part of the agreement to sell Family Stations' WFME, Newark, New Jersey to Atlanta-based Cumulus Media. 〔 〕 The WDBY simulcast went silent on Monday, January 14, 2013, in preparation for Family Radio, the previous programming from 94.7, to move there along with the WFME calls. The station began playing traditional Christian hymns that afternoon and the full Family Radio feed on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「WFME-FM」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
