WLEA

WLEA (1480 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a combined talk radio and oldies format. Licensed to Hornell, New York, USA, the station serves the Elmira-Corning area. The station is currently owned by Pmj Communications, Inc. and features programing from ABC Radio, Fox News Radio and the Salem Radio Network.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=WLEA Facility Record )
WLEA signed on in 1948 at 1320 kHz; two years later, the 1320 slot was bought out by WWHG, later the now-defunct WHHO, necessitating the station to move to a new frequency. It was part of the Mutual Broadcasting System.
Programming heard on WLEA includes Brian and the Judge, The Rush Limbaugh Show, The Sean Hannity Show, Roger Hedgecock, a replay of Bill Nojay's show from WYSL, commentaries from Hedgecock and Mike Huckabee, a local interview show called "Newsmakers," local news updates, ABC News Radio at the top of each hour, and Fox News Radio at the bottom. Salem programs such as Dennis Prager and Hugh Hewitt, along with Fox host John Gibson, air during late nights and weekends.
WLEA is the broadcast home of Alfred State College's college football team and also carries Hornell High School athletics (sister station WCKR carries Canisteo–Greenwood High School sports).
WLEA streams limited programming on the Internet.
