WQLR

WQLR Started out as a Clear music Station. Elevator music for some. It was located on the 3rd floor of what was the ISB Building (now the Comerica Building) in downtown Kalamazoo.
WQLR ("Kalamazoo's 1660 The Fan") is an American expanded band AM radio station licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to operate on 1660 kHz from facilities located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The station had been licensed to Fairfield Broadcasting as WQSN, and was sold to Midwest Communications in 2006. The FCC approved a callsign change on March 26, 2007 to WQLR, the former callsign of WVFM, an existing FM music station owned by Midwest Communications in Kalamazoo.
==Programming==

WQLR is an affiliate of Fox Sports Radio, carrying the "First Team on Fox" with Steve Czaban, "Fox GameTime Live" with Andrew Siciliano and Krystal Fernandez, "Fox GameTime React" with JT The Brick, and "The Third Shift on Fox" with Ben Maller weekdays. The station carries "The Huge Show" and produces its own local sports-talk show, "The Yard", weekdays 6pm-7pm with Carolyn Binder and Matt Buck. WQLR also carries The Dan Patrick Show from Premiere Radio Networks on weekdays. Prior to September 2008, WQLR was affiliated with ESPN Radio.
In addition to the station's local sports talk and play-by-play, WQLR carries Chicago Cubs radio play-by-play from WGN-AM in Chicago and Detroit Red Wings radio broadcasts from WXYT in Detroit.
