The Washington School Information Processing Cooperative (WSIPC) is a public non-profit cooperative that provides technology solutions, services, and support to K-12 public and private schools. WSIPC’s membership includes 9 Educational Service Districts and more than 280 school districts, who represent nearly 730,000 students in over 1,500 schools. WSIPC serves school districts with complete information management systems for fiscal, human resources as well as a full student information system (SIS) for student and fiscal data. The main software package deployed by WSIPC is the Skyward School Management System. ==History== In 1967,〔()〕 ten school districts formed a cooperative to share software development and hardware costs, and provide centralized technological support. The result of this collaboration is WSIPC, a unique public agency that provides premium information services at a reasonable cost to school districts. In 2000 WSIPC joined the K-20 Education Network. This gave WSIPC more bandwidth and connectivity with schools. This again was a national first:〔(Enter the nation’s first high-speed, high-capacity network )〕 the first statewide high-speed network for schools. Initially, WSIPC had developed their own SIS software package in-house, called WISE. But in 2001, WSIPC partnered with Skyward,〔(View major events in Skyward history )〕 to provide its members with a complete School Management System, the only deployment in the country that includes both student and fiscal/HR systems. In 2003 WSIPC provided a case study for Citrix stating the revenue saved over 5 years.〔(Citrix Systems » WSIPC )〕 In 2007 WSIPC began using several new software solutions designed to provide a progressive feature-set to the cooperative members. Among these were Adobe Connect (for remote desktop support), Numara, Footprints (for support ticket tracking), and Microsoft Sharepoint 2007. In 2014 WSIPC launched its own analytics software called My School Data which provides quick, secure access to student data, including assessment information, in an easy-to-use dashboard format.〔(My School Data )〕 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Washington School Information Processing Cooperative」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
