WTXX-LP
WTXX-LP is a low-powered television station for the Pioneer Valley area of Massachusetts that is licensed to Springfield. Owned by R and S Broadcasting, it broadcasts an analog signal on UHF channel 34 from a transmitter southeast of Wilbraham. This is also the location of the digital operations for low-powered CBS affiliate WSHM-LD. () WTXX is the former call sign of Connecticut's The CW affiliate WCCT-TV. WTXX is a relatively new station in the area, and as a result, is currently not mentioned in television listings or offered on cable. In June 2013, former owner R and S Broadcasting reached a deal to sell WTXX, along with sister station WRNT-LP in Hartford, Connecticut, to Landover 5 LLC. However, the deal eventually fell through when the stations' management found out that the company planned to shut them down to auction the respective frequencies off for cell phone spectrum, and both stations were instead sold to Tyche Broadcasting, Inc. ==References==
