Wamp'una
Wamp'una (Quechua ''wamp'u'' boat,〔Teofilo Laime Ajacopa, Diccionario Bilingüe Iskay simipi yuyayk'ancha, La Paz, 2007 (Quechua-Spanish dictionary)〕 ''-na'' a suffix, hispanicized spelling ''Huampuna'') is a mountain in the Andes of Peru, about high. It contains one of the highest surveyed caves in the word, Qaqa Mach'ay.〔(members.shaw.ca ) Some Cave Statistics〕 Wamp'una is located in the Lima Region, Yauyos Province, on the border of the districts Huantan and Laraos District.
