Waqurunchu
Waqurunchu (a possible spelling from Quechua, hispanicized spellings ''Huagaruncho, Huagoruncho, Huagurungo'')〔 or Tarata〔escale.minedu.gob.pe - UGEL map of the Pasco Province (Pasco Region)〕 is a high mountain in the Waqurunchu mountain range in the Andes of Peru. Its highest peak, officially named Tarata, is located in the Pasco Region, Pasco Province, on the border of the districts of Huachón and Ticlacayan. The minor peak, named ''Huagurungo'' by the IGN, lies west of it in the Ticlacayan District.〔 ==References==
