Warffum
Warffum (Gronings: Waarvum〔Zakwoordenboek (pocket dictionary) Gronings-Dutch and Dutch-Gronings, Staalboek Veendam, fifth print 1998 (in Dutch)〕)is a village in the Dutch province of Groningen. The history of Warffum can be traced back to at least 800 AD, and it has been estimated that the village was founded as far back as the fifth century.〔(Warffum.com ) (in Dutch)〕
