Werkhoven

Werkhoven is a town in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is a part of the municipality of Bunnik, and lies about 5 km east of Houten.
In 2001, the town of Werkhoven had 1528 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.29 km², and contained 550 residences.〔Statistics Netherlands (CBS), ''Bevolkingskernen in Nederland 2001'' (). Statistics are for the continuous built-up area.〕 The neighbourhood of Werkhoven, which covers the entire area of the former municipality, has about 2320 inhabitants.〔Statistics Netherlands (CBS), ''Gemeente Op Maat 2004: Bunnik'' ().〕
Werkhoven used to be a separate municipality. It merged with Bunnik and Odijk in 1964.
