Commonly when a wall fixture (such as a curtain pole, towel holder) or a wall unit (shelf), has become loose due to an oversized hole or the drillbit produced a hole too big to support a wall plug, a cotton weaved pad impregnated with a special formulated gypsum is used to fix it into place. The pad which is first wetted, wrapped around the plug and inserted in the hole hardens after 3 minutes and fixes it securely into the brickwork, masonry, ceramic, wood and plasterboard allowing a wall fixture to be applied.
