''Wide-Eye'' is an animated children's television series, set in the fictional Natterjack Forest. The Television Series consists of 27 10-minute episodes, made between 2003 and 2004. The programme is about a wise old owl named Wide Eye who lives in a tree with his young son Little Hoot, and Little Hoot's best friend, Flea. ==Characters== *Wide Eye - The main and titular character who lives in a tree and is a father figure to his young son, Little Hoot, along with the other creatures of Natterjack Forest. Voiced by Maria Darling, Jimmy Hibbert and Jane Horrocks. *Great Grandma Toad - Grandmother of the Natterjack Toads. Voiced by Anton Rodgers. *99 - A Centipede who has trouble with his legs. Voiced by Jimmy Hibbert. *Conchita - A Chinchilla. She lives under the roots of a tree. Voiced by Maria Darling *Rangatang - An Orange Ape. He has set up a shop in Natterjack Forest. Voiced by Jimmy Hibbert. *Hetty - A hornet who likes things to be clean and tidy. Voiced by Jane Horrocks *Wily Komodo - The main antagonist. He always causes mischief in Natterjack Forest. He lives in a rocky den with his son, Baby Komodo. Voiced by Jimmy Hibbert *Baby Komodo - Wily Komodo's son. Voiced by Jane Horrocks. *Batwing - Wily Komodo's arch spy. She is a bat.
