Williella - a new tortricine genus from New Caledonia indicating Gondwanan distribution for the family (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae). Phylogenetic analysis of their plesiomorphic morphology suggested that ''Williella'' species are members of a group of isolated and generalized moths from Australia, New Zealand and South America.
