Workpop is an online job marketplace for hourly and shift based work. It was founded in February 2014 by Reed Shaffner, Chris Ovitz (son of entertainment executive Michael Ovitz), Jay Yu, and Ben Berman. The company's mission is to "Empower everyone to find a job they love." The site has been built on the Meteor platform. == History == Based in Santa Monica, the company currently serves the LA market. Workpop raised over $7.9 million from companies such as Trinity Ventures, SV Angel, and individuals such as Joe Lonsdale, Aaron Levie, Evan Williams, and Biz Stone. The site launched in September 2014 and currently serves job seekers and employers from all over LA County, specializing in hourly and shift based work in the service industry. The Workpop platform contains features such as video cover letters that allow candidates to record short videos of themselves explaining why they are right for the job and helps keep employers accountable by providing their response rate and response time. The site eventually plans to make money by upselling training modules to employers to maximize the data they are collecting.〔 In 2015, Workpop announced that it had added Biz Stone to its Board of Trustees. This coincided with its expansion into the rest of Southern California. It was named as one of the 50 LA start ups to watch in 2015 by Built in Los Angeles, and included as one of the 25 Hottest Start Ups in LA by Business Insider in May 2015. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Workpop」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
