Xbaquiyalo
Xbaquiyalo is a Mayan deity.〔We don't know if Xbaquiyalo is truly a Goddess or a human; but is most likely that she is a Goddess.〕 She was the wife of Hun-Hunahpú, and mother to the Monkey Twins, Hun Batz and Hun Chouén. The name ‘Xbaquiyalo’ (you must pronounce ‘Shbakiyaloo’) probably derives from ‘X-bac-quic’, that means ‘Little and Gory Bone’ or ‘Little and Gory Kernel’; ‘''yaló''’ maybe is a suffix. Maybe she descends from one Lord of Xibalbá, but it's only an hypotesis based on the fact that the name is grisly. ==References==
