Yagel
Yagel (, ''lit.'' He will Rejoice) is a moshav in central Israel. Located near Lod and Ben Gurion International Airport, it falls under the jurisdiction of Lod Valley Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 698. The village was founded on 27 June 1950 by immigrants from Iraq, and was initially named Lod Bet, but was later renamed Yagel, a name taken from the Book of Psalms 14:7;
Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When the LORD turneth the captivity of His people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.
