Yamanotera
is the collective name for a number of temples located on a hill in Nanao, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Today sixteen temples remain, which were initially built by Maeda Toshiie as defensive measures in 1581 and are considered of great historical importance to the local people. ==References==
