It is a county-level city under the administration of Yangjiang. Yangchun has an area of 4,055 km² and has approximately 1.05 million inhabitants (2003). The seat of government is the urban district Chuncheng (春城 more fully 春城街道). ==Administrative divisions== Yangchun is divided into the urban quarter, called Yangchun, and fifteen large municipalities or townships (镇).
