Zelus
In Greek mythology, Zelus (Greek: Ζῆλος, ''Zēlos'', literally "zeal") was the son of Pallas and Styx.〔Hesiod, ''Theogony'' 383–5.〕 Zelus and siblings Nike (victory), Kratos (strength) and Bia (force) were winged enforcers who stood in attendance at Zeus' throne and formed part of his retinue.〔Hesiod, ''Theogony'' 386–7.〕 Zelus personifies dedication, emulation, eager rivalry, envy, jealousy, and zeal. The English word "zeal" is derived from his name. Zelos may have also been identified with Agon, and was closely connected with Eris. Zelos is often depicted in today in every day sort of instances. In South Korea, a boyband named B.A.P has a member named Choi Junhong whose stage name is Zelo, in favor of the Greek god. == References ==
