Zulfiqarabad (), is a proposed new city in Thatta District, Sindh, Pakistan.〔(High-level meeting discusses Zulfiqarabad City project )〕 The President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari has directed the Sindh government to identify a million acres (4,000 km²) of land near the coast in Thatta district for the development of the proposed new city, in the memory of Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. The Zulfiqarabad Development Authority plans High-speed railway in the proposed city and nearby Karachi. The plans also include hotels and seaside resorts. The schools, colleges and universities, mosques, factories and a new seaport.
