dravya
Dravya, in Indian Philosophy is a concept referring to "substance", or that of which something is composed. In the Nyaya system there are nine of these systems: prithivi, ap, tejas, vayu, akasa, kala, dis, manas, and atman. In the Jain system there are six: jiva, dharma, adharma, pudgala, kala, and akasa. Its equivalanet term in Jainism, also gives rise to the title ''Dravyasamgraha'' (Compendium of substances), a 10th-century Jain text by Acharya Nemichandra. ==References==
