Kief (; 〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Kief )〕), sometimes transliterated as keef or kif, refers to the resin glands (or trichomes) of cannabis that may accumulate in containers or be sifted from loose dry cannabis flower with a mesh screen or sieve. Using a three-chamber herb grinder the cannabis can be finely ground while letting kief crystals fall through a screen and collect into a small compartment. Kief contains a much higher concentration of psychoactive cannabinoids, such as THC, than that of the cannabis flowers from which it is derived. The THC within the kief gives the user a euphoric high that can last for up to 12 hours. Traditionally, kief has been pressed into cakes of hashish for convenience in storage, but can be vaporized or smoked in either form. It can be used in a vaporizer and there are some companies selling e-juice in flavor of Kief. Making kief is one of the steps in making hashish; after the kief is collected it is usually heated and after many steps becomes hashish.〔https://www.leafly.com/news/cannabis-101/what-is-kief-anyway〕 == Gallery == File:Keif.jpg|Kief collected from a grinder with a screen.
