ladang
Ladang (Chinese: 拉当) is an area on the Western side of Pulau Tekong, Singapore. It houses a jetty which services ferries that travel between Pulau Tekong and Singapore main island as well as Ladang Camp which consists of CCO Pulau Tekong, Basic Military Training Centre Headquarters (HQ BMTC) as well as Basic Military Training Centres (BMTC) Schools 1, 2 and 3 of the Singapore Armed Forces.
Before Singapore Armed Forces took over Pulau Tekong it was a small village called Kampong Ladang.
==Transport==
There is a jetty on the Western end of Ladang which provide ferries for the military personnels and the recruits in BMTC to travel between Pulau Tekong and the Singapore main island.
There is also a Tekong Highway on the Northern side of Ladang Camp which is the only main road in Pulau Tekong and links Ladang camp to the other camps and facilities on the island.
