or is a type of ''kamaboko'', or cured fish ''surimi'' produced in Japan. Each slice of ''naruto'' has a pink or red spiral pattern, which resembles the Naruto whirlpools in the Naruto Strait between Awaji Island and Shikoku in Japan.
