Neurophysics (or neural physics) is the branch of biophysics dealing with the nervous system including the brain and the spinal cord and the nerves. The term is a portmanteau of neuron and physics, to represent an emerging science which investigates the fundamentally physical basis for the brain, hence the basis for cognition. The field covers a wide spectrum of phenomena from molecular and cellular mechanisms to techniques to measure and influence the brain and to theories of brain function. It can be viewed as an approach to neuroscience that is based on solid understanding of the fundamental laws of nature. Yasser Roudi received the Eric Kandel Young Neuroscientists Prize “for his contributions to the applications of statistical physics to network reconstruction and the understanding of information processing in neuronal networks” in 2015.〔http://www.kavlifoundation.org/kavli-news/yasser-roudi-receives-2015-eric-kandel-young-neuroscientists-prize〕 ==See also== *Computational neuroscience *Computer science *Complex systems *Neural networks *Information theory *Electrophysiology *Neuroscience *Brain *Neural coding *Electrical engineering * Soliton model in neuroscience 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「neurophysics」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
