This is a set of five (pancha = five in sanskrit) procedures. Nirooha, Anuvasana and Uttaravasthi form the basic types of Vasthi. The term Panchasodhana includes Vamana, Virechana, Sirovirechana, Nirooha, and Rakthamoksha. == Pre Panchakarma procedures == Pre Panchakarma procedures are called as Poorvakarma.
