They are air-sensitive white solids that function as tridentate ligands in coordination and organometallic chemistry. ==Bis(diphenylphosphinoethyl)phenylphosphine== Bis(diphenylphosphinoethyl)phenylphosphine is called triphos, is a linear tridentate triphosphine.
