* Himalayan yew (''Taxus wallichiana'')
* ''Taxus masonii'' (Eocene fossil yew)
The name also is used for any of various coniferous plants in the families Taxaceae and Cephalotaxaceae:
* White-berry yew (''Pseudotaxus chienii'')
* New Caledonian yew or southern yew (''Austrotaxus spicata'')
