Park spreads on 28 hectares and it is one of the most popular esplanades for locals. Memorial park was built in 1962. Creators of monuments inside park are architect Branislav Stojanović and sculptor S. Mišić. == Overview == The memorial complex is built on a place where during the Second World War over 3000 Partizana and their supporters were executed. There is a symbolic monument wall with bullet holes in the place where remains of those killed are buried. Also inside the complex there is monument dedicated to soldiers of the Red Army who died during the fight to liberate Požarevac.
