Čežnja

"Čežnja" ("Longing") was the Yugoslavian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1965, performed in Croatian by Vice Vukov.
The song was performed seventeenth on the night, following Finland's Viktor Klimenko com "Aurinko laskee länteen" and preceding Switzerland's Yovanna with "Non, à jamais sans toi". At the close of voting, it had received two points, placing 12th.
The song compares the elements of nature (clouds, waves) with his longing of his lover.
It was succeeded as Yugoslavian representative at the 1966 Contest by Berta Ambrož with "Brez besed".
