Šmarčna
Šmarčna () is a settlement on the right bank of the Sava River in the Municipality of Sevnica in east-central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.〔(Sevnica municipal site )〕 The settlement includes the hamlet of Gomila (or Spodnji Erkenštajn, (ドイツ語:Unteerckenstein),〔(Topographia Ducatus Carnioliae modernae ). The Šmarčna Čeček Field Mass Grave ((スロベニア語:Grobišče Šmarčna na čečkovi njivi)) lies south of the settlement on a lot by the house at Šmarčna no. 2. It contains the remains of eight Ustaša soldiers killed in May 1945 while withdrawing towards Austria.〔(Šmarčna Čeček Field Mass Grave on Geopedia ) 〕
