Kočevje: Pokrajinski muzej, p. 4.〕) is a settlement in the hills south of the town of Kočevje in southern Slovenia. It was a village inhabited partly by Gottschee Germans. In 1941 at the start of the Second World War its original population was expelled. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.〔(Kočevje municipal site )〕 It includes the hamlet of Jelenja Vas.〔Savnik, Roman, ed. 1971.
