Earlier names were Stinkstein and Stinkfluss (Hausmann, 1847)"〕、1962年に名づけられた〔American Journal of Science , 1862〕。かつてはStinkspat、Stinkfluss、Stinkstein、fetid fluorite等とも呼ばれた〔Carbonatites and alkalic rocks of the Arkansas River area, Fremont County, Colorado. 2.
