マーティン・ブース（Martin Booth、1944年9月7日 - 2004年2月12日）は、英国出身の作家、詩人。幾数もの小説を世に出す傍ら、旅行記、伝記、児童書、野生動物に関する書など、作家として多くのものを手掛けた。その生涯において、教師、脚本家、また出版社に勤めた経験も持った。 イングランドの北西部に位置するランカシャーに生まれ、7歳で父親の転勤に伴い、香港で少年期を過ごし、その後ケニヤでの生活も経験し、再び香港に戻った後、1964年に香港を去った。2002年悪性脳腫瘍の宣告を受け後、香港での少年時代についての回顧録の執筆を決心、''Gweilo A memoir of a Hong Kong childhood''の原稿が完成した直後の2004年2月に逝去。この回顧録は非常に高い評判を得た。『Gweilo（鬼老）』は広東語のスラングで欧米人の男性を意味する。 1998年に出した小説''Industry Of Souls''はブッカー賞の最終候補となった。 ==著書（含共著）== ===英国=== * Paper Pennies and Other Poems (1967年) * Supplication to the Himalayas.
